The apostille to the documents issued by internal affairs bodies is affixed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The apostille can be affixed to the following documents:

• certificates of the availability (absence) of criminal records and (or) the fact of criminal proceedings or termination of criminal proceedings;
• archive documents (archive certificates, extracts or copies of documents);
• certificates of rehabilitation.

The apostille can be affixed to the above documents in Saint Petersburg only if such documents are issued by the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Saint Petersburg.
